All four homes are situated in safe, residential neighborhoods far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The homes are between two and three thousand square feet with spacious floor plans, five bedrooms and common areas. With both private and shared accommodations available, residents enjoy plenty of personal privacy as well as a tight peer community.

Residents enjoy a healthy menu with alternative options available for individuals with dietary restrictions.

Treatment and Staff

Rather than a “one size fits all” approach to care, Jabez understands that each client’s path to recovery is unique. As such, the facility provides tailored treatment to meet the individual’s unique needs. Before beginning, clients go through an extensive evaluation that includes a psychological assessment and personal and family history. From there, Jabez determines the best course of action. The organization offers a strengths-based treatment model that treats symptoms and empowers the individual to boldly begin a new life. Jabez utilizes a number of therapeutic methods including evidence-based therapies, psychoeducation, skills training and community reinforcement. Clients engage in regular therapy sessions rooted in CBT, rational emotive behavior therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to resolve ambivalence towards recovery. Psychoeducation teaches clients important relapse prevention techniques that help to sustain recovery.

Jabez employs a team of house managers, therapists and social workers. Medication management is available for clients in need of dual diagnosis support for co-occurring conditions.
