Esther House is a womens’ transitional housing program for those who need assistance in the early stages of recovery after being homeless or incarcerated. Esther House is a faith-based program that offers counseling, education and life skills along with case management.
Accommodations and Amenities
The Esther House residence is situated in a former commercial business that operated as a hair salon. Now it accommodates up to eight women who sleep in dorm-style bedrooms with bunk beds. There is also a living room, kitchen and dining room, and an additional room that is designed to accommodate mothers with children. While the facility originally had a storefront feel, it is very homey and comfortable, inside. The entire facility is furnished through donations from individuals or the associated thrift shop.
Breakfast and dinner is provided by the facility.
