Treatment and Staff
CRTC is a four phase program that begins with a stabilization process. This generally entails a medically induced detox program that lasts between seven to 10 days on average. During this stage a customized treatment plan is implemented.
The next step is acclimating clients to the day to day activities at the facility, introducing them to their treatment team, and beginning therapy sessions. There is an emphasis during this phase for clients to begin to uncover underlying events and experiences that led them to use drugs and alcohol. Psychoeducation and drug education is included in this level of care.
By the third phase clients begin to put their new skills to use. They are able to take more control of their treatment experience. During this step clients start to work on reintegration, improving communication and relationships, building self esteem and personal responsibility.
The fourth and final phase of treatment is referred to as “the applied living experience.” Clients begin to develop their own vision of what recovery looks like to them, and with the help of clinical staff, assimilate to their own schedule. Clients in this phase set goals and follow through on them. At this point staff monitors clients through a series of assessments.
