Treatment and Staff
Before treatment begins all participants go through an initial intake and assessment process to help the staff determine their needs. As mentioned, the organization does have medical detox services available to those who need them. Once stabilized, participants attend individualized programs consisting of both individual, group and family therapy with evidence-based counseling including CBT, DBT and other psychodynamic therapies.
Groups cover a wide range of topics including life skills, relapse prevention, trigger identification and emotional processing. Other services include life coaching and dual diagnosis support for a range of issues as well including eating disorders, trauma and other related issues. While 12-step meetings are not required, participants can be referred to nearby meetings and 12-step alternatives as well.
The staff at Recovery Direct consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, CADCs and additional Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
The organization also offers specific programs for adolescents, eating disorders, trauma and other related behavioral health issues. Similarly, residential stays are highly flexible and can last 28, 60 or 90 days. Eating disorder programs can last anywhere from one to four months. In all of the above, participants can also work with staff members to develop step-down aftercare and discharge plans whenever necessary.
