The Basics

Integris is an expansive healthcare system that has operated hospitals, mental health facilities, clinics and rehabilitative facilities throughout Oklahoma since 1983. Through its Decisions Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services, outpatient treatment services are provided in Oklahoma City. Both a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are available at this location as well as an adolescent IOP. Treatment is evidence-based, and combines traditional therapeutic methods and peer-support groups.

Treatment and Staff

After an assessment, clients are placed on the PHP or IOP track. PHP clients attend treatment from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm each weekday for three to four weeks. Each day is filled with processing and education group therapy. Individual therapy is scheduled as-needed, usually multiple sessions each week.

Clients in the IOP attend treatment from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday or from 5:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday for group therapy. Individual therapy is scheduled as-needed. The adolescent IOP meets Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.

Group therapy is CBT-based and since many clients have co-occurring disorders, dual diagnosis groups are available as well. Clients can access the on staff psychiatrists for on-going therapy and medication management for an additional fee. All clients are strongly encouraged to attend 12-step meetings or other sober peer-support meetings such as SMART Recovery. A client’s primary counselor may decide a certain number of outside support meetings are mandatory for a client’s participation in the PHP or IOP.

The treatment team at Integris includes physicians, psychiatrists, therapists and addiction counselors including CDACs and LADCs.
